So… We Bought a Van 🎈

Boogie Nation, guess what? We bought a van!!!!!!!!!

She’s beautiful. She’s ours. She has not yet been named but you may have already seen her filled with two hundred balloons on your social media feed. She’s already a star.

Boogie Nation showed up, the band did the scary math on the rest, and somehow we are back on the road. The summer tour is a GO! Thank you thank you THANK YOU, genuinely, for being the kind of fanbase that turns caution signs into green lights.

Now. About the balloons.

Last week we filled the new van with balloons for an Instagram reel. Each balloon represented one of the gofundme donors. Writing out each name, light headed on rubber and sharpie fumes, I couldn’t stop smiling about how much fuel y’all poured on our fire.

The owner of the auto dealership who sold us the van contributed! He was that inspired by our story. Old coworkers, cousins, aunts, all came out of the woodwork to help us share our tunes. My childhood best friend even tossed in a contribution! Thanks again, Rachel. We’ve come a long way from church choir and computer games.

What you didn’t see in the reel was the aftermath: us in chasing loose balloons through the neighborhood, popping all 200 by hand and then picking the tiny pieces of rubber out of the front lawn. And other people’s lawns. The neighbors put up with a lot… and some of you were contributors to the fundraiser! Thanks for believing in the Sneezy party, even when it gets messy.

There have been naps, there have been pranks, she’s one of us now.
